Active Wave Engineering (AWE) Technologies LLC focuses on non-invasively identifying & characterizing fluids + materials as well as manipulating objects by specially adapting wave energies that intersect the spectrum from acoustics to electromagnetics for solving challenging technical problems.
We developed the Acoustic Resonance Spectroscopy (ARS) and the Swept Frequency Acoustic Interferometry (SFAI) techniques to noninvasively identify chemicals accurately and in a matter of seconds. The SFAI technique allowed determination of multiple physical properties of any fluid from a single measurement with very high accuracy.
We use the force of sound to manipulate objects. This allows us to concentrate particles, separate materials (e.g., oil-water, blood-plasma, pollutants etc.), and also create unique 3D structures in a matter of seconds. We call this acoustically engineered materials (AEM) that can use almost any material with very few limitations.
We have developed a unique and powerful imaging technique using low-frequency that is highly collimated. This allows deep penetration into highly attenuating media, such as rocks, concrete and mud. This noninvasive technique can be utilized from imaging the human body and the human brain to drilling applications for near bore hole analysis.
We create affordable non-invasive sensors for fluid analysis/diagnostics, acoustic separation of toxins/bacteria in body fluids, imaging for the body and deep brain stimulation.
Learn moreAWE developed sensors are capable of detection & separation of pollutants in the air and water. We can help filter and clean water and other fluids very efficiently. Our wave-based technologies can reduce the emissions of toxins from vehicle exhaust as well as smoke stacks.
Learn moreAWE sensors are capable of detecting and separating toxic agents in the air or liquids, identifying explosives/poisonous powders remotely, imaging through walls and concealed containers, and other technologies to help make the world a safer place for everyone.
Learn moreAWE sensors have the capability to detect infrastructure deficiencies through novel imaging techniques, improve efficiencies and lower costs for oil and gas drilling and producing operations, take critical measurements of high temperature/high pressure applications in power plants, etc.
Learn moreAWE sensor technologies can be used for quality control in food and beverage applications, flaw detection in gem stones and machinery, non-destructive testing and measurements.
Learn moreWe adapt unconventional technologies in a collaborative approach with industry and government for customized high impact solutions. Our close partnership with customers promotes a mutually beneficial co-development working model to create unique and exclusive outcomes.
